The most critical blocker is the balance sheet reconciliation suite, overdue since D+3, awaiting a GL extract from IT. The revenue recognition journals are also blocked pending Legal sign-off on contract amendments — this item should be escalated to the General Counsel today if approval is not received by midday. The payroll accrual confirmation remains outstanding from HR.
Seven tasks are actively in progress and on track for D+4 completion. If all three blockers are resolved today, the close remains achievable by D+5. The CFO is recommended to prioritise review of the IT escalation and Legal approval request before the afternoon stand-up.
